People ask why I run political content on a self-reliant website. It’s because if we’re not aware of the winds of change we can never prepare properly for emergencies. That’s why I was ran coronavirus warnings with preparedness tips from late last year. It’s also why I run stories like this. Who knows when a minority will upset the political balance and cause ripple effects that cascade through Congress, local politics and eventually, our streets?
I keep asking myself how the #BLM movement will be viewed by history. We remember the March of Dimes for its power and dignity. We recall the Civil Rights Marches and the widespread sympathy from the community. Will these angry street protests be remembered with respect and reverence? I suspect not unless this group wins and romanticizes its victories as they did in Communist Russia and China.
And how about these!
